Exam Introduction
In addition to the entrance exams provided by external organizations (such as UKiset, ISEB and CAT4), many UK independent schools, especially the top independent schools or the nine elite schools, have their own internal entrance exams to test students’ abilities.
The entrance examination content of most UK independent schools includes the following 4 items:
1. English
2. Mathematics
3. VerbalReasoning
4. Non-verbal Reasoning
If the student applies for the Sixth Form (16+), in addition to taking the general papers, the school will often require students to take the subject papers according to the selected GCE A-Level subjects.
